I found this project very challenging. Perhaps not because it was technically difficult but because it required organization as well as on organized train of thought...But, I am pleased with the turn out.
I began this project by researching all kinds of occupations. I nearly leapt into the realm of being a film director but then I decided I needed to make a flyer and I could not think of a reason why a film director would need a flyer. So I then decided if I couldn't turn myself into my dream of a movie maker, I would be something similar and I began researching photographers. I looked up their average wage and found in todays economy that being a photographer wasn't a smart goal...but you only live once right? So I settled on a ohotographer.
I made first and formost a logo, then a business card. The business card took forever for some strange reason, but after considering what color scheme I wanted to reprisent me, what font and design I wanted, I created something close to what I was wanting. Next was the big one: The flyer. I first knew that this was a photography business thus I needed some form of cool-ish photo. I am not sure if I acheived that or not but I ended up taking a picture of myself taking a picture...thorugh a mirror. Some editing and such made it antique looking and I cropped it a bit so all you can really see is the camera. I ended up creating an email address and phone number all on google for my business and added that contact information to the flyer along with my real home address and prices for the services I provide.
Finally, I made a letterhead. The challenge as making sure everything was repetitive. Mainly, I did so in the colors. I meshed white, gold, black, and blue together which made an interesting combonation but I do really like it.
And that was my process, though you'll see in more depth what I did in the slideshow below.
